Die Kilbi ist neben dem bookerischen Alleingang auch ein Gemeinschaftswerk. Ohne Fans keine Kilbi. Das führt bisweilen zu Korrespondenzen zwischen Booker und Fan. Hier ein lebendes Beispiel, live versendet von einem Live-Auftritt der Band, welche aus einem Drittel Mama Rosin besteht, „von einem, der mit dem Musikpass tanzt: Duck Duck Grey Duck haben mehr Biss als die "Grauen Panther" – obschon nur drei, sind sie auch lauter (und das zu Recht!). Und bewegt habe ich mich auch. Zwei, drei langsamere Rockballaden haben sie gespielt. Solches Zeugs gefällt mir nicht, deshalb hierfür kein Kommentar. Wahrscheinlich aber gut. Der Rest war Rockmusik. SchlagzeugBassGitarre-Basiscombo, aber alle drei mit Spöiz im Füdli. Treibende Spielfreude: In den 70ern entlehnen sie Bass und Gitarre aus "Strassen von San Francisco" ...wua wua wua wua wua..., dann wie die Tarantinos, nur sind die Enten zu dritt und trotzdem etwas lebendiger. Passen mir und an die Kilbi. House oder Stage B? Könnte etwa so an Kilbi abgehen, wie seinerzeit Rizzoknor, Camera, Fai Baba.“
La Kilbi est certes unique en matière de booking, mais c’est aussi une œuvre collective. Sans fans, pas de Kilbi. Et parfois, le booker se confond avec le fan. En voici un exemple vivant, transmis en direct depuis un concert du groupe, composé d’un tiers de Mama Rosin, de la part d’un mec qui danse avec le Musikpass: Duck Duck Grey Duck sont plus tranchants que les «Panthères grises» ; même s’ils ne sont que trois, ils jouent plus fort (et ils ont bien raison!). Et j’ai même bougé un peu aussi. Ils ont joué deux ou trois ballades rock. J’aime pas ce genre de trucs, donc je ne ferai pas de commentaire.
The Kilbi is, besides the booker’s solo run, a collaborate piece of work. There’s no Kilbi without the fans. This leads to correspondence between bookers and fans. Here’s a living example, sent live of a live gig of the band, consisting of one third of Mama Rosin, by a guy who dances with the Musikpass (note: Bad Bonn membercard): Duck Duck Grey Duck have sharper teeth than the „grey panthers“ – although consisting of just three of the members, they’re even louder (justifiably!). And I was moving around and dancing, too. That’s pure rock music. DrumBassGuitar-base combo and all of them are rock’n’rollas. Driving joy about playing, they borrowed bass and guitar from the 70’s from „streets from San Francisco“ ... whoo whoo whoo whoo whoo..., then like the Tarantinos with the only difference that the ducks are just a trio and still more vibrant. I like them and the Kilbi does, too. House or B-Stage? Could be just as good as Rizzoknor, Camera, Fai Baba at that time.
