In Australien gibt es den Tomaga River, ein bisweilen ziemlich unruhiges Gewässer. Ruhelos wie das Londoner Duo Tomaga: Mit einem Schlagzeug und vielen Gerätschaften erschaffen die beiden Electrofrickler einen flirrenden, zirpenden, rasselnden Klangdschungel. Einzige Konstante ist der selten abflachende Rhythmus, dem dieser Soundorganismus folgt.
Tomaga River est une rivière australienne plutôt agitée. Ce qu’a bien compris le duo londonien Tomaga : avec une batterie et un tas de machines, ces deux là bricolent des sont qui grincent, froissent, susurrent et se cantonnent rarement à un rythme continu, suivant plutôt le cours organique d’un cours d’eau.
There’s a Tomaga in Australia, a turbulent river. You could say it’s restless, just like the London based duo Tomaga: All they have is a drum and a lot of machines and the two electro enthusiasts create a whirring, chirping, rattling sound jungle. The only constancy is the hardly flattening rhythm that follows this sound-organism.
