Leoni Leoni’s captivating sound spheres have a decelerating effect. It’s the project of the Bernese musician and producer Leoni Altherr, who is also part of the experimental pop combo Start Since and the jazz trio Die Drei. Leoni recorded her two solo albums «Easy Sleep» and «Super Slow» at home – sometimes with a four-track tape recorder, then again digitally. She gently combines warm synthesizer surfaces, fine vocal gimmicks and reduced beats. Delicate songs, but also meditative instrumental tracks are created. You’re in the balance, somewhere between lo-fi ambient and experimental dream pop.
