Girl Band

It is said that one should breathe into the pain when there are complaints. For Dara Kiely, the wheezing is becoming more and more fearful. It is a recording of one of the panic attacks with which Girl Band’s singer is struggling; together with the trembling drones, this recording opens the latest album «The Talkies». Otherwise, the quartet of Irish men (speaking of girl band) seems pretty strong again: four years ago, the penultimate album was released, and it seems as if the band loaded their punk pieces, which sound like rhythmic fits of rage, with a new lust for destruction. There is, however, something unmistakably healing about this music of demolition shaking your bowels!
