It could easily be forgotten that singer and Gucci campaign face Dani Miller was barely born into this world when her current bandmates shaped the punk scene in 90’s Texas. 27-year-old Miller embodies the roaring electric guitar music of her band Surfbort from Brooklyn like the true punk icon she is: with her face painted clownishly she’s shouting at the US President and other evils while the guitar riffs are sawing and the drum kit smashing. And in the end, an indestructible zest for life always triumphs: Surfbort’s power shows are little bombs of joy.
