The smell of emptiness. The noise of silence. The coexistence of antagonisms. Félicia Atkinson is a visual artist, musician, painter and poet. Exploring the infinitesimal as well as the gigantic, she builds a palpable but fleeting world, dreamlike but haunted. A world in which whispered words in French and English mix with digital and organic sound layers. Félicia Atkinson’s hybrid experiments will be presented at Kilbi by the Lautsprecher Orchester Freiburg, giving a circular awareness to the sound that floats on the surface around our stagnant bodies.
