It is quite possible that Englishman Rian Treanor occasionally embarrasses the partygoers with his artfully filleted electronica: Treanor’s aggressive beats stutter like a broken car engine; synthesizer sounds come in waves and everything around them is fidgeting, chirping, and rattling. So, from the dance floor it’s difficult to predict which smooth sound particles he’s going to feed into the shredder next – and yet, miraculously, it always results in computer music with a cool, technoid elegance.
