Weyes Blood from Santa Monica plays the folk of the future. Unbelievably beautiful. Incredibly melodical. Soft as silk. In and between the lines she makes the difference. Natalie Mering, who’s already played with the avantgardist Ariel Pink, creates a subtly bad world and changes the landscapes in front of your eyes into new spheres.
