With their name the bassist Andi Schnellmann, the guitarist Manuel Troller and the drummer David Meier satirize classical naming of jazz trios. On one side the guys from Lucerne, in the center of Switzerland, are a jazz trio, on the other they are something completely different. Unconventional rhythms and improvisations meet crushing, hard, loud rock – together they make a compact, powerful unity. And last but not least they are an outstanding live band. As Meier says: music must manifest itself on stage.
