After a break of nearly 35 years the Pyramids and Idris Ackamoor found each other again in 2010. The fact that a concert label from Berlin took them on, as well as a electronica label from Munich, (with whom they recorded an album in the studio of Krautrock band Faust) might be the reason why the Pyramids are creating a buzz far away from the usual Jazz circles at rock festivals all over Europe. Maybe they seek to plant the same new Jazz seeds like Kamazi Washington, they certainly would have fertile grounds for it.
