Come to think of it you could call the Flamingods some sort of ghost-band, cause no one really knows their roots. It started as Kamal Rasool’s solo project in the gulf of Persia, until it grew to a band after a jam session in England. After England changed it’s immigration politics Rasool had to move back to his homeland. This wasn’t the death of the flamingods though, all the band members which were scattered across the globe, started sending each other audio recordings to keep the ghost of the flamingods alive. So they created hypnotic songs with a rhythmic tribal vibe from all over the world, that will inebriate some sort of undefinable turmoil in each listener.
