A little japanese lesson: Afrirampo means „naked rock“ and this is exactly what the two sisters Oni and Pikachu from Osaka are playing. No rules apply, just minutes of noise and thrilling dissonances, ravelled songs and incalculable amplitudes that will grab you like a kicking donkey. This seems to appeal to bands like Sonic Youth, Acid Mothers Temple or the Boredoms, who asked Afriampo to join them on tour. After a break of six years, they are back and we are excited!
