Julian Sartorius
323 kilometers in 10 days. Julian Sartorius went on a walk from Basel to Geneva, a marked musical territory for his new album, armed with a backpack and some drumsticks. Tree trunks, empty silos, freshly cut corn – all of them are a source of sound for the percussionist from Bern. He used these sources to create his album “Hidden tracks: Basel-Genève”, a collage in shape of a vinyl, but also of a map, including a download. The walk Sartorius offers to the Kilbi audience sort of serves as a record release. You will wear headphones, he will again be armed with drumsticks. All you have to do is follow your tour guide and discover the sound of the Kilbi landscape.
