Feminist Lucifer
What is it? A line fault in the transformer station? Or is the neighbour watching a horror film? No, it's the psychoacoustic sound of the Swedish Maria W Horn. As soon as she has woken you up with electro-machine-room-compositions she starts calming you down with minimalist, endless piano melodies. Maria W Horn's music is like a very good thriller: you never know what will happen next - and that's exactly why you get caught up in her auditory and danceable research on witch hunts in her northern Swedish homeland of Angermanland or on a satanic-feminist sect in which Lucifer is reconceptualised as a women's liberator.
