Leoni Leoni’s captivating sound spheres have a decelerating effect. It’s the project of the Bernese musician and producer Leoni Altherr. Leoni recorded her three solo albums «Easy Sleep», «Super Slow» and «Yellow and Why», recently released on Bongo Joe, at home - sometimes with a four-track tape recorder, then again digitally. She gently combines warm synthesizer surfaces, fine vocal gimmicks and reduced beats. Delicate songs, but also meditative instrumental tracks are created. You’re in the balance, somewhere between lo-fi ambient and experimental dream pop.
